Biography

Dr. Stalmans is currently focusing her research work on artificial intelligence to improve the detection and management of glaucoma, retinal imaging as a biomarker for systemic diseases, as well as medical and surgical glaucoma therapy. She is the President of the European Glaucoma Society, the President of the Belgian Glaucoma Society, a member of the Royal Academy of Medicine of Belgium, and member of the Glaucoma Workgroup at CCOI.
