Maria Cecilia Aquino

After receiving subspecialty training in Glaucoma at the National University Hospital (NUH), Singapore, Dr. Aquino joined the Glaucoma Unit of the Department of Ophthalmology, NUH. She is actively involved in clinical work and research development of new modalities of glaucoma treatment. She takes great pride in being part of the NUH glaucoma team who developed the PAUL Glaucoma Implant as well as the Micropulse cyclophototherapy laser surgical procedure, both which are now widely used worldwide.
