Abstract
The management of strabismus after glaucoma surgery, in particular glaucoma drainage devices, can be challenging and an intimate understanding of its pathophysiology is essential. Management of strabismus after glaucoma implant surgery can be complex and range from conservative treatments, such as prism glasses, to surgical interventions including botulinum toxin type A (BTXA) to the muscle overlying the GDD, strabismus surgery, removal of fibrous adhesions around the GDD, and in some cases, removal of the GDD itself.
