Dr. Tan is a Consultant at the Department of Ophthalmology, National University Health System, Singapore. He is also the Assistant Group Chief Technology Officer of the National University Health System, where he leads the development, testing and validation of digital health technologies. He has been awarded joint industry grants such as the NUHS-NHIC Joint MedTech Grant, NUS Teaching Education Grant, and multiple teaching awards. xxi xxii
