Biography

Dr. Milano has carried out clinical research in the field of ophthalmology with particular attention to glaucomatous disease. His research has been featured in journal articles, book chapters, journal abstracts, conference abstracts, contributions to conference proceedings, and presentations at national and international conferences. He has spearheaded numerous national and international clinical trials. Currently, Dr. Milano is the principal investigator of the global TRITON study, which involves the intraocular implantation of a slow-release bimatoprost device to reduce intraocular pressure.
