Muhammad Abouhamid

Muhammad Abouhamid is an ophthalmologist whose practice is essentially focused on glaucoma and anterior segment surgery, with an additional particular interest in neuro-ophthalmology, especially optic nerve disorders. As a faculty member, he is actively involved in ophthalmic education and supervises the ophthalmology residency program at Tanta University. Mentored by Professor Keith Barton at Moorfields Eye Hospital, his research is primarily focused on ocular imaging and glaucoma surgery.
