Salman N. Sadiq

Dr. Sadiq is a consultant ophthalmologist at the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle with a subspecialty focus in glaucoma. He completed specialist glaucoma training through the TSC programme at Sunderland Eye Infirmary, followed by a senior glaucoma fellowship at St Paul’s Eye Unit, Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where he gained extensive experience in a wide range of glaucoma surgeries, including trabeculectomy, deep sclerectomy, tube surgery, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. His academic interests include medical education and research on artificial intelligence applications in optical coherence tomography-based glaucoma monitoring. He has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and regularly presents his work at national and international conferences. xix xx
